Q: What is my first step if I disagree with the market value of my property?

Q: What is that last date that I can file an appeal regarding a review of my valuation?

A: All requests for appeals must be made to the Monroe County Clerk’s office by July 10th.

Q: Who sets the tax levies in Monroe County?

A: The schools and other political subdivisions set tax levies, which, in turn, determine the amount of the tax.
